Self Study Skills Boosters
Our Self Study Skills Boosters online learning course is a chance for you to work in your own time at your own pace. It allows you to sample a variety of our main learning offer across multiple subjects including many that could help you move towards a new career, get something for your CV or simply try something different. The course is accessed through a Google Classroom, you will be sent a personalised login and link to that classroom when your application is processed.
The course is launching on 1st October 2026. More information about the specific activities will be added closer to the date! Logins will not be live before then. You are more than welcome to apply before then and you will be sent your login when the course goes live.

This is suitable for anyone who wants a quick boost of skills and knowledge or just to try out something different without committing to a full more lengthy course.

You need to have internet access and enough computer skills to self-learn using a Google Classroom. You will be sent a ‘how to use Google Classroom’ guide but this is a self study package and there is no access to tutor/IT support.
Prosp User 4
You will need access to a desktop/laptop PC or a large tablet. A mobile phone screen will not be big enough to navigate around the Google Classroom.
Prosp User 5
Your free access to the course lasts three weeks. After that your login will be disabled. You can spend as much time within the course in that three weeks as you wish.
