Italian Lower Intermediate
This Lower Intermediate Italian course is designed for learners who want to strengthen their communication skills and expand their vocabulary through practical, real-life topics. The course focuses on everyday situations, helping students become more confident in speaking and understanding Italian.

In particular in this term, we will focus on:

• Talking about food, meals and Italian eating habits
• Ordering in restaurants and expressing preferences and opinions about food
• Exploring aspects of Italian culinary culture
• Describing health problems
• Asking for and giving advice (e.g. at the pharmacy or doctor)
• Using everyday expressions related to well-being
• Practising functional language for real-life situations such as seeking help or giving recommendations

Learning will take place through:

• Role-plays and real-life scenarios (restaurant, pharmacy, daily interactions)
• Vocabulary expansion and grammar practice
• Listening and speaking activities based on authentic contexts
• Cultural insights into Italian lifestyle and habits

This course is for anyone interested in building on previously learned Italian. Ideally you will have studied Italian to Intermediate/GCSE or upper intermediate level in the past or have a good understanding of past, future and conditional tenses and interested in Italian culture.
