Drawing & Painting for Wellbeing - Nature & Landscape
This course is for anyone who wants to develop their creative skills while enjoying the wellbeing benefits of making art in a supportive and friendly environment. Alongside practical art creation, each session incorporates basic wellness practices designed to restore a little balance to your daily life, including calming breathing techniques, grounding techniques, practical tips for getting enough good quality sleep, understanding the vital importance of spending time in nature and grabbing that ever illusive digital “detox” when possible!

Embracing the restorative process of mindful making, we will work with drawing, painting and simple printmaking. We’ll take inspiration from nature, wildlife and landscape – sometimes using the seasons and the work of well-known artists as our starting point. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, explore your own ideas, and develop personal work that combines different techniques and materials. Teaching is relaxed and hands-on, with tutor demonstrations and some one-to-one guidance each week, providing you with both artistic growth and a peaceful sanctuary to unwind.
