Dressmaking - Your Project, Your Pace
Your Project, Your Pace is a relaxed, supportive two day dressmaking workshop designed for learners who want dedicated time, space, and expert guidance to move their personal sewing projects forward. Whether you’re adjusting a commercial pattern, perfecting fit, tackling tricky construction techniques, or finally starting that garment you’ve been dreaming about, this workshop gives you the freedom to work on what matters to you. Bring any project—simple, ambitious, or somewhere in between—and enjoy a friendly studio environment where you can learn at your own rhythm with tailored tutor support. It’s an ideal setting for building confidence, refining skills, and making real progress without pressure, all while connecting with others who share a love of making.

Across the two sessions, you’ll receive one to one help with everything from pattern adjustments and fabric handling to finishing techniques and troubleshooting. The tutor will demonstrate methods as needed, offer personalised advice, and help you break down your project into achievable steps so you can enjoy the process as much as the result. Whether you’re returning to sewing after a break or steadily growing your dressmaking skills, this workshop is all about empowering you to create beautifully and comfortably at your own pace while gaining the confidence to continue your sewing journey beyond the classroom.
