Our dementia‑support courses are designed for anyone who wants to better understand dementia and play an active role in supporting people living with the condition—family members, friends, carers, volunteers, and anyone interested in developing skills for health and social care roles. We work closely with local organisations and communities to build confidence, deepen understanding and promote compassionate, person‑centred support.

Our free workshops give learners practical strategies, communication tools and insights into how dementia affects daily life. Sessions are welcoming, interactive and grounded in real‑world experience, with plenty of space to ask questions and share challenges.

Learners can also work towards Functional Skills qualifications in Maths or English and access personalised guidance on future learning, volunteering opportunities and pathways into health and social care careers.
