Tap Dance for Improvers Term 3
This Tap Dancing course will suit improvers. It will give you an understanding of
tap technique as well as broadening your understanding of ta and developing your sense of rhythm and movement. Our experienced tutor will adjust the content of the class to ensure improvers are able to learn and develop in the class. A good tap dancer uses their whole body to convey the movement and sense of performance – it is not just about the feet!

The course will explore different musical styles and will develop your ability to combine steps into dance sequences. Like all forms of dance, tap is great fun and is hugely beneficial for your physical and mental well-being. It’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

The course builds on the techniques and varied styles of tap dancing learnt on the beginners course and will improve your co-ordination, musicality, spatial awareness, mental agility and stamina.
