Starting Your Art Business Online: The Essential One Day Workshop
Are you thinking about selling your art or turning your creative hobby into a small business? Perhaps you’ve already started but would like clearer direction and more confidence.

This one-day, in-person workshop is designed for artists and makers at an early stage of their business journey, including adults who may be starting a second career in the visual arts.

Led by professional artist Liz Foster, this practical and supportive workshop combines creative experience with practical guidance. We’ll help you understand what’s involved in starting and growing your own art business in a realistic and manageable way.

You’ll explore the fundamentals of selling your work, including:

• How to show up and position your work professionally and confidently
• Setting prices and selling with galleries or online
• An introduction to artists' website design and other online platforms
• Getting started on Instagram and social media

We’ll look at best-practice examples, discuss common challenges, and support you in shaping a clear starting point for your own art business. By the end of the day, you’ll feel more confident and informed about your next steps.
