Family Matters -Time Out For Parents: Children With ADHD
The course gives time and space to help parents/carers understand more about the challenges their child faces and the impact this has on their behaviour, self-esteem and on the whole family. The course content, along with the time spent with other parents/carers provides opportunities to share concerns, joys and experiences. Helpful strategies and ideas are also presented, which can help make family life more manageable and more enjoyable, strengthening the relationship with you and your child.
The course is fun and interactive and there is input from the facilitators, small group exercises, whole group discussion and opportunities for parents to bring up their own issues and share ideas.
