Autumn - Sew - In
Join our supportive and creative workshop this autumn to develop and strengthen practical skills in both dressmaking and home furnishings.

These sessions offer a focused, encouraging setting where participants can actively work to advance their skills. Suitable for people of all ability levels, the format is designed specifically to help you complete stalled projects or start and manage new pieces effectively. We recognize that maintaining momentum between courses can be challenging; this workshop provides the dedicated time and expert guidance needed to overcome technical hurdles and ensure you finish what you start.

While you work at your own pace on your chosen project, the environment is collaborative and dynamic. The diverse mix of skill levels ensures participants can share ideas and gain inspiration from one another. The tutor provides essential, hands-on instruction to ensure everyone receives the targeted support needed to achieve their personal sewing goals.

Please bring along your own project to work on during the session, including any patterns, fabrics and haberdashery that you intend to use on the day. Pattern Cutting paper can be brought for 60p per metre.

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine to use, as long as it is in good working order and it is used in conjunction with one of our PAT tested extension cables.

Please note, refreshments are not provided as part of the day, but there is a café on site that sells refreshments and food, or you are welcome to bring your own drinks and packed lunch (it is advisable if you wish to purchase lunch, that you order in advance to avoid the café waiting times).
