Empower Your Community: Enhance Skills and Wellbeing
This free programme is designed to help you build confidence and improve your English, maths, and digital skills, while also supporting your wellbeing. Whether you're looking to feel more confident in everyday life, support others in your group, or prepare for work or further learning, we’re here to help. You will take part in up to three interactive sessions (45–90 minutes each), where you can improve your wellbeing and meet friendly people in a relaxed, supportive space.

What can I learn?
- English: Every day, spelling and grammar; Common word mistakes (like homophones); Confident communication; Informal and formal writing; Writing clearly and with purpose
- Digital Sills: Making video calls (Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet); Staying safe online; Using QR code; Navigating with Google Maps; Exploring AI tools to simplify tasks; Quick, easy digital learning with Learn My Way
- Math: Fun and practical maths game; Online number skill; Budgeting with the Nudge App; Using maths in Word and Excel
- Wellbeing: Accessing wellbeing resource; Exploring how AI and virtual tools can reduce stress and support balance

This course is open to anyone involved in a community group, whether you attend, volunteer, or work there.
It’s especially helpful if you’d like to improve your skills or feel more confident using English, maths, or digital tools. You don’t need to do everything—choose what works for you. You’ll also gain transferable skills that are useful for everyday life, work, or future learning.

If your venue doesn’t have internet, we can provide mobile Wi-Fi. You’re welcome to use your phone or tablet, and we can bring equipment for anyone who needs it. If your venue isn’t suitable for training, we can arrange a space elsewhere in the city.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
