The mode of study differs from a traditional ‘classroom setting’. You will be provided with a workbook and access to our e-learning platform and during sessions you will be studying the book and completing the online consolidation tasks. Support is available from your tutor in all sessions and your tutor will also track your progress, provide support on the learning platform and assign you sample tests for all units. This will also enable you to study and complete work outside of the weekly sessions to suit your own personal schedules and commitments.

A good knowledge of maths and English language is required due to the complex terminology taught and a good knowledge of digital skills. You will be invited to an initial assessment before being enrolled onto the course and if not deemed suitable you will be signposted to other courses that will improve these skills and enable you to enrol at a later date.

Please note that the exam sessions will be held at a different location as the school will not be open in the evenings in the final week/s of the course. This location is currently planned as Clifton Explore library in York, where there is free parking.
