Level 2 Principles of Business Administration
This fully funded Level 2 qualification provides a solid foundation in business administration skills needed for modern office-based roles.

You’ll learn how to manage information, support events, and carry out key administrative tasks. The knowledge gained can be applied across a wide range of industries and job roles.

Delivered through online modules with weekly classroom support, the course builds both knowledge and confidence in key areas such as business communication, organisational structures, document handling, administrative support, teamworking, digital safety, and the use of social media in a business context.

Assessment is through short written tasks linked to real-world admin scenarios.

A notebook and pen will be useful for making notes throughout the course. All learning materials and assessment access are provided at no extra cost. Computers will be available during class sessions.

For home study, you’ll need access to a personal laptop. If this isn’t possible, you may be able to use library facilities or borrow a study laptop from York Learning for the duration of the course.

Entry Requirements: Have achieved English at Level 2 (minimum Level 1, subject to assessment). Complete an interview and, if required, an initial assessment to confirm course suitability. Have been a resident in the UK for at least the last 3 years.

Homework: You’ll be expected to complete weekly tasks to stay on track and meet course deadlines. These tasks are essential for building your knowledge and successfully completing the course.

Certification: Upon successful completion of all units, you will receive a nationally recognised Level 2 certificate awarded by TQUK.

Progression: This course is a great stepping stone into office-based roles or further study in business administration, customer service, or ICT.
