Summer Festival - Hand Sewing: Make a small denim bag
Did you know that producing 1 pair of jeans requires a staggering 3781 litres of water? That’s the equivalent of 19 baths! We're on a mission to recycle as much denim as possible and not send it to landfill.
During this workshop you and your child will make a small bag from recycled denim fabric, using a variety of hand stitching techniques. Have fun using a hand sewing needle and thread and leave the workshop with a bag you have made yourself, and the skillss to be creative with your old or worn out clothes at home.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, who is expected to observe the child while they are sewing. Health and safety information will be provided to all participants at the beginning of the session. This workshop is suitable for children aged 8 - 11.
