Sashiko & Boro Workshop: Cushion Cover Japanese Style
This workshop will introduce you to the Japanese hand stitch traditions of Sashiko and Boro. You will make a cushion cover using both techniques.

A choice of templates will be available enabling you to stitch a variety of beautiful patterns using white thread on a dark blue fabric. A strip of Boro style patchwork will be a feature on the reverse side. The construction of the cushion cover will be done using a sewing machine.

There will be a charge of £3.00 on the day for the cushion pad. Please bring this in cash to pay to the tutor at the start of the workshop.

Please note, refreshments are not provided as part of the workshop, but there is a café on site that sells refreshments and food, or you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch and drinks.
