Pattern Cutting - Trousers (Pattern and Toile Fit)
Do you struggle to find a pair of trousers that fit your body shape in the shops? Do they fit on the hips but are too big on the waist or the leg shape isn’t right? This may be the class for you.

In this exciting two day workshop you will learn how to draft your own pair of tailored trousers or easy fitting trousers to your own measurements. You will work through a drafting code with tutor support all the way. Measuring and some simple maths calculations will be required.

There will also be an opportunity to explore customising your pattern to include a variety of pockets, a waistband or facing, fly front, etc.

Once the pattern is complete, it is recommended that you make a toile (mock-up) of the trousers to check fit.

*You will not be making a pair of finished trousers in the workshop, moreover you will draft the pattern and make a toile and will be guided through individual fitting and customising.
