Dressmaking - Sewing & Basic Dressmaking
Explore your creativity and enjoy participating in a variety of sewing and crafting activities. The course is suitable for all abilities. People can work at their own pace and learn useful skills that they can take into everyday life. The course is ideal for anyone who is interested in sewing…or perhaps would like to learn how to sew but has never really had the chance.

Both hand sewing and machine sewing skills will be practised on the course.

We will make gifts and simple household objects such as cushion covers and other soft furnishings. We will learn how to undertake simple alterations to garments to give a better fit, how to up-cycle and modernise existing clothes and if desired, how to make clothes from scratch.
