Pattern Cutting - Bodice & Sleeves (Pattern & Toile Fit)
In this exciting two day workshop you will delve further into the pattern cutting process. You will learn how to take relevant body measurements and use these measurements and a drafting code with tutor support all the way to create a bodice and sleeve block, beginning the journey of making your own patterns. Measuring and some simple maths calculations will be required.

Learners will be encouraged to make up the block in fabric for fitting. The tutor will also demonstrate further influences to the block with dart manipulation, style lines, various necklines/facings, sleeve shapes and more!

Teaching and learning will be based on a variety of methods and these will include tutor presentation, varied demonstration and one to one personalised guidance. Learners will need to use basic Maths skills whilst calculating body measurements, however the tutor will be able to assist in any way possible.

* PLEASE NOTE: You will not be making a finished bodice and sleeve in the workshop, moreover you will draft the pattern and make a toile and will be guided through individual fitting and customising.
