Flowers for a Vase
This is a relaxed and standalone course where you will be guided through skills to enable you to
Arrange flowers in a vase. Whether you are new to floristry or already have some experience you will learn how to make beautiful display flowers for the vase and create floral displays suitable for a gift to enjoy at home or for an event. You will be taught skills that you will be able to use in the future with your own flowers and foliage.
You will be given advice about what type and shape of vases are most suitable for you to select in the future. You will be shown how to aqua pack your flowers to take home

This course is suitable for people relatively new to floristry or people with some experience.

You may like to bring a notebook to class.
All fresh flowers and foliage are included in the course fee. You may wish to bring your own floristry snippers to the class, but the tutor will take some Floristry tools that you are welcome to borrow during the class.

All materials required for this workshop are included in the course fee. Please come to the community learning entrance in the purple block of Huntington School.
Members of the York Learning team will be there to welcome you and show you to your classroom.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
