Ceramics - Beginners Plus
This course introduces & allows learners to explore the wonderful art form which is ceramics.

The course is suited ideally to people with some existing knowledge of ceramics. However, the basics of clay construction will be practised and the processes will be appropriate for both beginners and those with experience.

Those with experience will be encouraged to develop their own ideas/project under the guidance and support of the tutor. As well as learning a range of 3 dimensional making techniques, you will also be shown how to decorate work using slips and glazes to finish a product.

We aim to provide relaxing yet purposeful, creative environments where learners can flourish, learning new skills that can enrich their lives in a multitude of ways.

Please note: This is a hand built pottery and ceramics course. Throwing will not be taught as there are not the facilities available.
