Introduction to Counselling Training
This 5 week course is designed to introduce you to some of the main topics and ideas that you will study on the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling with York Learning. It will give you a basic understanding of some of the knowledge and skills that you are required to have in order to work safely and professionally in a variety of helping roles. This introduction course has been designed to ensure that anyone who wishes to enrol onto the CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills can do so with confidence and from a more informed place of what the training requires. It also aims to give learners who may be struggling to commit to a fully accredited course a chance to enter into learning without the pressure of meeting the wide range of assessment requirements that come with working towards a qualification. The course will require you to take part in group work discussion, personal reflection and submit one piece of written work to evidence that learning has taken place.
