Multiply 3: Crochet Beginners Plus
This is the perfect follow-on course from the beginners course in the first half term, as we will look at using the basic stitches we learned previously and apply them to set projects to work on over the weeks.

We will start to look at reading a written pattern: this will open up a whole world of new patterns and new projects for you to work on in your own time.

This course is for people who attended the beginners course in the first half term or for people who have already been crocheting a little while and just want a bit of support and guidance with trickier stitches or pattern reading.

The course is funded by the Multiply project which means it is only eligible for people who don’t have a Level 2 maths qualification/GCSE grade C/4 or above.

For the first week, the tutor will bring enough hooks and yarn for everyone - she will then discuss the best type of cost-effective yarn and hooks to buy for the rest of the course.

We will be incorporating basic maths skills throughout the course to show you how maths is a part of everyday life, including in work and hobbies!

To find your classroom, please come to the York High School community reception by Energise sports centre, not the main school reception.
