Christmas Pyjamas! (Matching Sets)
Are you looking for a sewing course in a relaxed learning environment that will teach you the basics to make some fun Christmas PJs for you and your family? We will share tips and tricks for sewing with woven and stretch fabric along with cutting your pattern and fabric accurately. The pyjama bottoms will be made in a woven (non stretch) fabric and a top to co ordinate in stretch fabric.

We will explore sewing and finishing waistbands, seams and hems along with sewing cuffs with ribbing, neckline bands, facings and trims to create Pyjamas that will be unique to you and your family.

The pattern will be provided as an adult size small, medium or large and child size small, medium and large (there will be samples of made up garments available for you to try on prior to selecting your size). In the first week you will have the option to customise your pattern by choosing the neckline shape, lengthening or shortening the body or changing the sleeve length.

During the course you will expect to complete one pair of pyjamas, but you will be equipped with the patterns and skills to complete more for your family in your own time.

If you are unable to bring your own machine, please let us know at enrolment so that we can prepare one for you.

Steam generated irons, overlockers and a cover stitch machine will all be available to use during the sessions.
