Design and Make Your Own Sweatshirt
Enjoy a relaxed learning environment to sew yourself a cosy sweatshirt for the winter months. A great introduction to sewing with stretch fabrics on an overlocker or a regular sewing machine, we will share tips and tricks for sewing with stretch along with cutting your pattern and fabric accurately.

We will explore sewing and finishing seams and hems along with sewing cuffs with ribbing, neckline bands, facings and trims to create a sweatshirt that will be unique to you!

The pattern will be provided as a small, medium or large (you will be contacted prior to the class to discuss sizes and a pattern and this will be available for you at the class). In the first week you will have the option to customise your pattern by choosing the neckline shape, lengthening or shortening the body or creating drama by adding a balloon sleeve and cuff!
