Stained Glass - Seasonal Suncatchers
After learning to cut basic shapes from plain glass, you can choose from a range of designs for little decorative pieces of stained glass to hang in a window that will catch the sun. You can then select your coloured glass and cut it to the pattern, wrap it with copper foil, solder it together and finish it off with a small loop to hang it up by.

You could choose to make a suncatcher for Christmas, or perhaps one with a more autumnal feel. The tutor will provide ideas for designs, but if you have a design of your own in mind, please bring this with you.

This course provides you with a real opportunity to create unique pieces of art and craft for your home and/or garden in a relaxed and friendly environment. Teaching and learning will be based on a variety of methods and these will include tutor presentation, varied demonstrations and one-to-one personalised guidance.
