Needle-Felting: Leaves & Flowers
Learn how to create felted leaves and flowers with a variety of wools, using a dry needle felting technique.

In addition, learn how to embellish and stitch with beads and embroidery threads.

Step-by-step demonstration and tuition will be given. There will be lots of beautiful materials available, as well as additional fibres, and lots of samples to encourage and inspire you in this enjoyable, bright, creative workshop.

By the end of the day, you will have created a number of leaves and flowers which can be turned into brooches, decorations or posies.

Materials for these will also be provided at a small extra cost of £3.00. You will be able to use the techniques to create your own pieces or to develop the craft in your own time.

All of the materials needed will be provided by the tutor at the workshop for a small additional cost.

Please bring £3.00 (in cash) payable to the tutor on the day, to cover the cost of the materials. It would be helpful to bring the correct amount, to minimise cash handling.

If you wish to bring your own refreshments, snacks and drinks, please feel free to do so as there will be a stop for lunch halfway through the session. The new library will have a café where you can purchase food and drinks too.

Initial skills gained from this workshop could lead to a further course in this craft, and potentially long term to additional income as a self-employed creator.
