Feltmaking - Wet Felted Landscape
In this workshop you will learn how to create a felted landscape picture using merino wool and wet felting techniques. In addition, you will learn how to further embellish and stitch into, or frame, your work.

Step-by-step demonstration and tuition will be given. There will be lots of beautiful materials available, as well as additional fibres, and lots of samples to encourage and inspire you in this enjoyable, creative workshop.

By the end of the day, you will have a felted landscape picture to take home, and the experience and skills needed to create more felted pictures in your own time.

Suitable for all abilities, we will be gently pulling out the fleece, sprinkling water and gently rolling the work until felted. Most of the day will be spent creatively teasing out the wool and designing your picture.

Materials cost £3.00 per person, which is payable to the tutor on the day of the course.

Please bring an apron to wear to protect your clothes from the wet felting process.

You will need to bring a packed lunch and any hot/cold drinks you might need, as lunch and refreshments are not provided by the venue.
