Willow Christmas Decorations
This one-day workshop is an introduction to willow weaving and how you can use this versatile material. You will learn how to prepare it and discover its uses.

In the workshop you can use a variety of techniques to create your own beautiful Christmas decorations. We will be making a Nordic star and Christmas tree or angel and other smaller items, which can be used as tree decorations or hung on the wall.

This course is suitable for anyone who likes making things and being creative with willow. It is aimed at beginners, as well as those with some experience.

All materials needed for the workshop are provided at an additional cost of £7.00. This is payable on the day to the tutor in cash. Where possible, please bring the correct amount, to avoid unnecessary cash handling.

If you have your own sharp secateurs, please bring them along. Also, please bring a sharp knife such as a penknife if you have one.

Please bring a packed lunch and any snacks or drinks you require, to the workshop, as these are not provided at the venue.

When you arrive at the school, please go to the school's main reception. The York Learning reception staff will be there to greet you and explain how to find your classroom.

Please ensure that you read and understand the health and safety guidelines on any creative product or tools that you intend to use during the course.
