Sew-in-Summer with Sue Fraser
Enjoy a relaxed learning environment and pick up new skills in dressmaking and sewing. These informal sessions have been specifically set up to enable existing and new learners to extend their sewing skills during the summer, and continue working on those unfinished projects or even start a new one.

So often people have the best intentions to sew frequently, between courses, but then get stuck on something specific or time runs away with us, and items remain unfinished.

There are no set outcomes on our Sew in Summer workshops, moreover, it is expected that all learners will be working on something different and working at their own pace.

This mixed ability setting, enables learners to gain inspiration from their peers whilst obtaining essential knowledge and information from their tutor, thereby allowing them to move forward.

**If you do bring your own sewing machine, please ensure it is in good working order.

If you are unable to bring your own machine, please let us know at enrolment.

Steam-generated irons, overlockers and a cover stitch machine will be available to use during the session.

Employers value employees who have strong transferable skills, as they tend to have the tools to help them go beyond their job description.
