Dive into engineering technical drawings, mastering reading and creating them. Learn system navigation and essential design tools/ commands needed to create component sketches, dimensional constraints before turning your 2D sketches into three dimensional components using features like extrude and revolve. You will need to be comfortable using a computer, but most importantly, bring your enthusiasm for learning! To make the most of this course, please bring your own laptop or computer with Autodesk Inventor software installed. A notebook and pen might come in handy for jotting down key points and ideas during the sessions. Prosp User 5
Rest assured; we've got all the tools you need to succeed! Upon registration, detailed instructions will be provided for downloading Autodesk Inventor software for free. For optimal performance, we recommend computers meet these minimum specifications:

Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor: 2.5GHz or faster 64-bit processor
Memory (RAM): 6GB RAM minimum
Graphics Card: 1GB GPU minimum
Storage: 35GB of free disk space for installation
Pointing Device: Three Button Mouse

If you have your own computer we will send information about how to download the software in advance. If you are not able to download the software or do not have your own laptop please arrive at 5pm on the first day of the course and we will help you to install the software or issue a loan laptop.
