Willow weaving: gathering basket
We will start the day by looking at different willow and learning about its preparation and qualities.

There will be new words associated with willow weaving and your tutor will show you some simple weaving techniques as we make the basket.

We will start with the base and then concentrate on the sides. Following this we will focus on the border and adding the handle.

Instructions and help will be given whenever needed, until we finish a unique, useful and lovely basket for you to take home.
