Italian Intermediate - Term 3
This is a blended course based on 4 online zoom sessions and 3 face-to-face lessons at Huntington Community Centre.

This term will be focused on Italian life, society and culture. We will cover the present subjunctive tense, its uses and application.

You will acquire new vocabulary and a deeper understanding of the structure of the language, with emphasis on accuracy of pronunciation. You will learn by listening, reading texts, doing a variety of exercises and practising in role play situations.

This course is for anyone interested in building on previously learned Italian. Ideally you will have studied Italian for the last five years or to an intermediate level or A level in the past.

This is a blended course. Four of the classes are held online via Zoom, and run for 1 hour from 1pm to 2pm.

The 3 face-to-face sessions will be held at Huntington Community Centre on the following dates, and they run for 2 hours from 1-3pm:

- 11/04/2024 (week 1)
- 02/05/2024 (week 4)
- 23/05/2024 (week 7)

Prior to the start of the course, please ensure that you can access Zoom on the device that you are using.

You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course by email approximately 24 hours before the course is due to start. If you enrol later than this, the Zoom code will be emailed to you on the day that your course starts. The Zoom code login and password you receive will be the same for every class this term.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
