Fashion Draping
There is a no more creative way to make patterns and garments than by draping fabrics directly onto the stand (mannequin).

In this course you will learn a range of beginner draping skills, as well as covering some key technical knowledge such as the process that draping follows and how a range of different fabrics and their grains affect their draping ability.

During the one day course we'll look at a variety of garments. Each project in the course aims to teach you a new draping skill from fitted to more voluminous garments to details such as pleats, gathers and cowls.

Designs will then follow the draping process and paper patterns will be created. This course aims to equip you with the draping skills that you need to start draping your own unique designs.
