Stained Glass (early evening session)
Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere as you are guided through the techniques required to design and create beautiful pieces of stained glass. You will have the opportunity to share ideas within group discussions along with 1:1 time with your tutor. This is a practical, hands-on craft course.

By the end of the course, you will have made your own piece of stained glass that you can take home with you.

This course provides skills for self-improvement, which could lead to further study/or a pathways towards self-employment as a working artist.

All tools and equipment are provided. Materials for the course are available at a cost of £10.00 per student payable to the tutor on the first night (a proportion of this may be refunded, depending on the quantity of work produced).

Please bring a sketchbook/notebook and a pencil.

There will be no class on both Wednesday 27th September (Huntington School open evening) and Wednesday 1 November 2023 (half-term holidays). This course now finishes one week later than originally advertised.

When you arrive at the school, please walk to the school's purple block entrance and York Learning staff will be there to show you to your classroom.

Please ensure that you read and understand the health and safety guidelines on any creative product or tools that you intend to use during the course.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
