Mosaic Making for Home and Garden
This class provides an enjoyable and relaxed introduction to the art of mosaic making. Basic skills and techniques will be demonstrated by your friendly tutor and you will be able to create a series of unique mosaic pieces for your home and garden, or to give as gifts to friends or loved ones.

You will be introduced to different methods of mosaic making and guided through the process of cutting and shaping your own tiles including ceramic, glass and pieces of china.

Learn about the different materials required to make a variety of items that may include coasters or pot stands, decorative wall art or hangings, garden ornaments and jewellery.

The grouting process will be demonstrated and as the course progresses, you will be able to create your own mosaics and complete the grouting with confidence. There will be plenty of images and exemplar available for inspiration during lesson time.

There is an additional materials cost to cover substrates, adhesives, mosaic tiles and inclusions, indoor/outdoor grout and use of cutting tools. (Please see the section: "What do I need to bring?")
