Stained Glass
Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere as you are guided through the techniques required to design and create beautiful pieces of stained glass. You will have the opportunity to share ideas within group discussions along with 1:1 time with your tutor. This is a practical, hands on, craft course.

By the end of the course, you will have made your own piece of stained glass that you can take home with you.

This course provides skills for self-improvement, which could lead to further study/or a pathways towards self-employment as a working artist.

All tools and equipment are provided. Materials for the course are available at an initial cost of £10.00 per student payable to the tutor on the first night. Additional payments may be required later in the course depending on the amount of work produced.

Please bring a sketchbook/notebook and a pencil.

The course will run for 11 weeks in the autumn term followed by 9 weeks in the spring term.

Autumn term dates:
20/09/23 to 13/12/2023 with no session on both the 27th September (Huntington School open evening) and 1st November (half-term holiday).

Spring term dates:
17/01/2024 to 20/03/2024 with no session on the 14/02/2024 (half-term holiday).

When you arrive at the school, please walk to the school's purple block entrance and York Learning staff will be there to show you to your classroom.

Please ensure that you read and understand the health and safety guidelines on any creative product or tools that you intend to use during the course.
