Initial Assessment for GCSE English Language Courses
You may apply and register your interest for new courses starting in September 2024 and we will contact you regarding a pre-course initial assessment from June.

This Initial Assessment is for people who are interested in doing GCSE English Language and who do not already have a C (or 4) in the subject. Once you submit an application, you will undertake a short Initial Assessment to check your suitability for this course. If you then go on to join a course you will require sufficient IT skills to be able to use online learning resources.

You will need to have a laptop or personal computer with a Webcam and access to the internet.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
