Drawing & Painting Skills
In this course learners will work through a range of small projects looking at diverse themes such as the human figure, portraiture, the natural world, and colour. Learners will develop skills in using a range of different media such as watercolours, acrylic paint, charcoal, and pen and ink. Through looking at paintings and drawings from art history we will explore how visual ideas might be expressed in our own individual work.

Teaching and learning will be based on a variety of methods including tutor presentation and one to one personalised guidance. Learners are encouraged to experiment and try out new ideas. This is a fun and engaging class which provides the opportunity for individuals to develop skills and explore ideas within a relaxed and encouraging environment.
