Painting & Drawing
In this practical course you will work on a range of drawing and painting pieces as we explore different themes in art. There will be tutor-led demonstrations, lots of hands-on tasks and plenty of opportunity for experimentation. You’ll also be encouraged to share your work with the rest of the group and get lots of supportive feedback.

Your tutor will demonstrate various approaches in drawing techniques and painting including mark-making, colour mixing, and composition. You will be encouraged to try a range of materials including ink, charcoal, pastel and acrylic paint. You’ll also pick up lots of tips about which materials to use and how to get the best out of them.
