We’re running more of our popular workshops and network events to develop skills which will support your role working or volunteering with families and individuals in communities.

Share ideas about ways we can support others to overcome barriers, access support and achieve their goals
Create an IAG ‘Toolkit’ to include finding information, signposting and referring, safe boundaries, responsibilities and action planning. Become part of a growing network of people who understand that the more joined up our services can be, the better our support will be!

This course is for anyone who wants to develop their knowledge of how to signpost, give advice and join up services when working in our local communities. As this is an introductory course, it’s also ideal for anyone volunteering or thinking of working or volunteering in community settings.

On successful completion of the three short introductory sessions, you will be invited to take part in termly network meetings and have the opportunity to progress onto formal IAG qualifications at Level 2 (free), Level 3 and 4 (where charges apply). This will open the door to all sorts of career and volunteering opportunities.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
