Move Better, Keep Well
A brand new and exclusive course offering a combination of Somatic movement, Yoga and the principles of the Alexander Technique to help you reclaim movement in your body and release pain and become more active again.

Somatic movement, like that of Yoga and the Alexander Technique is about body-mind integration. You will become aware of the way you move, how your body has adapted to your muscles becoming tight or restricted due to habitual
patterns, emotional stress, injuries or trauma. The skills you learn will help reawaken movement and
flexibility and improve the effectiveness of your breathing. It’s not just an exercise class but a
mindful practice which de-stresses the nervous system helping you to feel relaxed, calmer and your
energy restored.

Move Better is suitable for all abilities. However, you must be able to get down onto
the floor and stand up, as the movements are done lying down, sitting and standing.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing (for example yoga or jogging bottoms). You will require a carpeted floor, or a non-slip yoga mat, and have a suitable upright chair (preferably without arms), a yoga block, or books and a cushion. It is recommended that you work in bare feet. Prosp User 5
