Down to Earth: Sustainable Gardening and Plants for Free
Who doesn’t want Free Plants? This early spring workshop will look at the various methods of propagation to enable you to expand your garden, helping you to create a sustainable green space for little or no cost. Types of propagation you will be exploring are: Soft and hardwood cuttings, sowing seeds in pots and trays. We will also discuss and examine other methods such as splitting and dividing plants and how and when is the best time for carrying out these types of propagation. Prosp User 3
This practical workshop is open to all and suitable for the hobby grower and new growers to gardening. It is also suitable for those who would like to expand their garden, with little or no cost. Prosp User 4
• Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil
• Gloves – as you will be handling compost and plant material
All materials are supplied for this workshop at a cost of £5 payable in cash to the tutor at the beginning of the lesson.
