Needle Felting - Fallow Deer
Come and make a gorgeous free standing, pretty fallow deer which is reddish brown with white dots and stands about 12 cm tall. You will learn how to manipulate natural soft wool and needle felt the shape around a wire armature. With step-by-step tuition from an experience feltmaker tutor, lots of samples and use of all equipment, you will learn the skills needed to create needle felt animals and take home your lovely fallow deer. £4.50 per person per kit, which includes all materials and use of equipment on the day. This is payable to the tutor on the day of the course.

You will need to bring a packed lunch and any drinks you might need as lunch is not provided. However, there is a lovely café on site. Please check the library's own website for the opening times of the café: www.exploreyork.org.uk.

Please bring your own hand sanitiser and sanitiser wipes to the session.

This course takes place in the Garden Room at the central library in York. It is a ground floor classroom. Please note that the library has no parking available. There are sometimes a couple of available parking slots for people with a blue badge directly outside the library but these are City of York Council owned, and not library owned, and cannot be relied on to be available. There are bike racks and a number of buses that stop nearby.

If COVID-19 guidelines change at short notice and face-to-face delivery is no longer possible, a full refund will be given.
