Creative Phone Art
Make creative images using only your phone camera and a free online editing app. In this workshop we will be going on a short ‘nature trail’ in the Museum Gardens, capturing images of spring before going back to York Explore to learn all about editing the photos. We will explore the use of the various editing tools available on an app called ‘Snapseed’ to make your images look better and experiment with colours and layers. All you will need with you is a charged smartphone and an eagerness to learn more about creating wonderful photos in this simple and enjoyable way. In this Saturday morning workshop you will specifically:

- become more familiar with the use of your phone camera;
- learn how to use simple editing tools to enhance and be creative with your captured images on your phone;
- recognise how phone photography can help you 'notice' more; and
- experience the joy of sharing and critiquing your image.

Please note that the library has no parking available.
