Drawing & Painting Beginners
Develop your artistic skills, understanding and confidence whilst learning to use a variety of media with help and personalised guidance from your friendly and experienced tutor.

Explore the basic elements of art such as line, tone, form, texture and composition through a series of creative drawing and painting tasks culminating in a portfolio of studies and a personal final piece. Teaching and learning techniques will include demonstrations by your tutor, occasional self-evaluation and group feedback, as well as inspiration and exemplar from great works of art.

This course is aimed at people with a little or no drawing and painting experience. The tutor will be happy to take beginners as well as people who have completed 10 weeks of her beginners’ course previously. Prosp User 4
Please bring an A3 sketchbook, 2B pencil and any other drawing materials you may already have. Other material requirements will be discussed at the first session.
