Crochet - Eco - Using T-shirt yarn
This workshop will show you how to turn your old unwanted t-shirts into a yarn that can be used to make many exciting things – baskets, bags, foot pouffes etc.

I will guide you through how to cut the t-shirt to make a useable yarn, and then we will learn how to crochet a basket for household use, whether it’s to store your crochet hooks, cotton wool in the bathroom or even a fruit basket for kitchen!

You must already be able to crochet as this type of crocheting is not for beginners. Prosp User 4
You will need to bring with you 2 or 3 plain t-shirts that are suitable for cutting up to make the yarn. (Please note, do not use ribbed t-shirts or t-shirts with patterns/motifs on them.) You will also need a large crochet hook (a variety of sizes would be useful, 7,8 9 and even 10mm hooks can be used); and a large pair of scissors suitable for cutting the t-shirts.

Please bring a packed lunch and your own drinks as required.

Please also bring your own hand sanitiser and sanitiser wipes.
