Dressmaking - Bring your Own Project
Enjoy the practical process of sewing and Dressmaking again in a relaxed, yet secure setting.
So often people have the best intentions to sew frequently, but then they get stuck on something specific, and items remain unfinished.

These sessions have been specifically set up to enable existing and new learners to extend their dressmaking repertoire. Making clothes that either they want to wear or they want to make for family and friends.
This mixed ability setting, enables learners to gain inspiration from their peers whilst obtaining essential knowledge and information from their tutor, thereby allowing them to move forward.

The course will be fully supported by ‘Padlet’ (best described as an online noticeboard) where weekly demonstrations and other useful material will be uploaded by the tutor. This platform can also be used to keep in touch with likeminded learners to share ideas between sessions and keep a record of your progress.

When attending a course, learners will be expected to conform with the COVID-19 guidance in place at each venue. This may include using face coverings, cleaning your own work area and bringing your own refreshments etc. and will reflect the national COVID-19 guidance at the time. We ask that you please bring your own hand sanitiser and sanitiser wipes to each session for your own personal space.
