British Sign Language (BSL) - SOS (Adult Learning in York Week)
We hope you’ll enjoy this Adult Learning in York Week taster session.

This workshop introduces those who have either no, or very little previous knowledge of British Sign Language, to the absolute basics of the language. You will explore the essential signs that people may need to know in a health emergency, a travel emergency or housing emergency.

This is a great workshop for anyone who works within the professions of healthcare, housing and education, but is also a brilliant thing to do if you are simply wanting to widen your knowledge of the world and learn various new methods of communication.
