Soft Pastel Techniques - Paint along with Sue
This one-day workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to use soft pastels really effectively within your own work. Learners will observe our tutor working and with step-by-step guidance, complete a “Pastel Painting” of their own, by the end of the day.
Reference pictures and drawings will be provided via email a week before the course runs so that the images can be printed out by students beforehand and brought to the class.
Photographs of work in progress and the finished tutor works will also be emailed to all participants after the class.
We will look at basic and more technical applications. We will also look at colour mixing and tonal values, important for all approaches to painting in general.
