Pizza, Pasta, Pesto - Italian Cookery
A short course which encompasses a variety of Italian dishes. You will learn to make your own pasta, pesto, breads, delicious main courses and desserts.

At the first hands-on session you will learn how to make basic egg pasta then together use the machines to make your own tagliatelle with homemade pesto, tortellini or ravioli. Each week you will choose two dishes to complete - such as chicken parmigiana or piccata, pork marsala, risotto, pizza, Stromboli or focaccia or Sicilian music paper bread, tiramisu, chocolate diplomatico, pannacotta or semi freddo with morbidi or biscotti biscuits. The tutor will offer expert advice and give you handy tips and ideas to help you perfect your skills.

You will gain the skills and confidence to make a variety of Italian dishes perfect for Italian entertaining. You will also learn how to add other ingredients to adapt recipes and each week you will come away with your chosen dishes to eat or freeze. You will have a set of recipes that you can take away so you can practise your skills at home!

Please bring an apron, baking paper, palette knife, sharp knives, 2 tea towels dish cloth and containers to take your food home in. You will need to bring your own ingredients each week and a list will be emailed to you before the workshop starts so please ensure we have an up to date contact email address for you on our system.
