Watercolour - Improvers - Paint along with Sue
This 3-week course is suitable for learners of all abilities with an interest in watercolour painting and step-by-step guidance will be given throughout. We will concentrate on developing purely watercolour applications, exploring basic and more technical approaches, for example, wet into wet, soft edges, wet on dry, dry brush and negative edges, plus all over wet under painting. We will also look at colour mixing and tonal values, which are important for approaches to painting in general.

Reference pictures and drawings are sent prior to the session via email, and learners will draw the picture ready for the session. Learners will need to ensure that they have their materials ready before the session begins. Photographs of work in progress and the finished tutor works will be placed on the class Padlet board and learners will be encouraged to place their work on there also, so that class outcomes can be shared.
